Our mandate is to turn ideas into action through facilitation and promotion of bilateral exchange of ideas, trade and investment between Nigeria and Canada for the benefit of both countries. NCF amplifies Nigeria’s voice in Canada, and Canada’s voice in Nigeria, in matters of the economy and public policy. NCF provides a robust platform for public-private sector cooperation on Nigeria-Canada bilateral relations. We foster open and continuous dialogues on both countries’ economic development agenda. We achieve our objectives by reaching out to private, public and other non-governmental stakeholders, thereby creating channels for meaningful exchange. In the process, we shape and direct the defining issues of our time. We are a membership-driven organization with representatives from both the public and the private sectors. Among other things, we conduct research; publish findings; host seminars, workshops and conferences on relevant topics; both domestic and international, thereby facilitating forums for discussion. At NCF, we advance new ideas that help create an enabling environment conducive for mutually beneficial public-private partnerships in various sectors of the Nigerian and Canadian economies.
