The National Institute for Biotechnology in the Negev, (NIBN), is a unique, independent and self-sustained applied research c ... ompany, established in 2009 through a tri-lateral agreement between the state of Israel, Ben-Gurion university (BGU) and Mr. Edgar D. de Picciotto. NIBN’s mission is to bridge the gap between solid science and attractive biotech, by focusing only on guided R&D with a clear biotec potential. Research at the NIBN, performed by 24 prestigious BGU scientific leaders, is performed in dedicated state of the art research and development (R&D) laboratories located within the BGU campus. NIBN R&D is focused on diverse fields, including cancer, infectious diseases, autoimmune and metabolic diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, human genetic disorders, applied biotechnology and AgBio. The NIBN's management team, made exclusively of biotech veterans, follows and helps guiding BGU-originated applied research with industrial potential, through proof-of-concept and commercialization. We encourage and support a cutting-edge, innovative and creative research, that generates ideas for new biotechnology applications, emanating from an interdisciplinary discovery-driven research. Our Services being offered for the biopharma community include: • Cryo-Electron Microscopy: • Macromolecular Crystallography: • Proteomics, Cytometry & Microscopy: • Genomic Analysis: • Bioinformatics: read more
