(NEX) began its legacy as a warehousing operation in East Liberty, OH for an automotive manufacturer as a joint venture between Nippon Express (worldwide logistics and freight forwarding) and Nittsu Shoji (packaging specialist). At the time, the plant operated on 82 acres and 100,000 square feet of building space. Within one year NEX landed a contract to provide aftermarket packaging services to a lighting company.
