NCG(NewChineseGeneration Leadership Development) was founded in 2017. With over 500 members and 60 executive members, NCG is ... one of the biggest officially registered non-profit student organizations of the University of Alberta Student Union. NCG aims to safeguard the rights and interests of away-from-home Chinese in UA and help them succeed in their career path in Canada. We hold fantastic events to enrich their academic and daily life, promote friendships with local Canadian as well as other countries and spread Chinese culture. Members are trained to develop their leadership and professional skills, to expand social experience and interpersonal relationships in the university via various volunteer opportunities, resources, public welfare events and workshops provided by NCG. Supported by the government and all walks of life, We have continuously expanded influence and increased the depth and breadth of services since establishment 3 years ago. It has not only united most Chinese students in UA but also helped members make the connection with large enterprises in local, abroad and social organizations, which benefits a lot. UANCG is now chaired by the Presidium, Finance Department, Internal Department, Event Department, Public Relations Department, Publication Department, Student Life Department and Multi-Media Department. We plan to expand our size to 1000 members in the upcoming year and we will continue to hold various activities to help Chinese students in Edmonton. NCG(NewChineseGeneration Leadership Development)，创建于2017年，现有超500名成员，60余名会员，是阿尔伯塔大学(University of Alberta)学生会官方注册的最大非营利性学生组织之一。 NCG旨在维护UA全体华人学生的权益，帮助成员在职场竞争中脱颖而出。我们提供最精彩的活动内容、丰富学生的学术与日常生活、发展与加拿大及其他各国学生间的友谊、传播中华文化、互相学习共同成长。同时，我们提供多样的义工机会、资源以及筹划各类公益活动、研讨会，培养成员领导力及各项专业技能，拓展大学人际关系以及社会经验。 3年以来，在阿尔伯塔省政府以及各界的支持下，我们不断扩大影响力，提高服务的深度和广度，不仅团结了UA广大华人学生，更为学生与国内外中大型企业及社会各界组织机构的联系架构桥梁，使大家受益匪浅。 NCG现下设主席团，Finance部、Internal部、活动部、公共关系部、宣传部、学生生活部及多媒体部。在之后的日子里，我们计划扩展成员至1000名及以上，以继续开展多活动以服务广大华人学生。 read more
