7 BA TV students studying at Bournemouth University are hosting a 6-hour news broadcast titled ‘Brexit Day: LIVE’ from the un ... iversity’s main television studio, streamed live on 29th March 2019. This will feature live debates, news, on-location reporters around the country and follow the day’s events with an ‘easy-to-understand’ approach to Brexit. The second is a people focused feature documentary exploring how people's lives will be affected by border changes between Ireland and Northern Ireland as a result of Brexit. The news broadcast will be fed through onto a dedicated university youtube channel and will aim at targeting younger audiences. Students from departments such as journalism, politics, law and media will all be a part of this huge professional collaboration with the aim to follow the momentus day’s events as they unfold. In total, an estimated 200 people will be directly involved in the project. The documentary itself will feature prominently within the live broadcast where academics, politicians and a variety of guests (including MP’s and party members) will discuss the day’s proceedings and what this may mean for the UK.
