The NEOACFE is a non-profit corporation and is incorporated/registered with the State of Ohio as such as well as with the IRS as determined and defined under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(4). NEOACFE is based in Cleveland, Ohio and was established in 1990 and has a membership of about 50 members. Our members work in a wide variety of industries including private businesses, finance, government, law enforcement, security and academic. We also have a good representation of students from various local universities who have an interest in achieving an anti-fraud career. In addition to hosting regularly scheduled meetings with insightful and engaging speakers, the Chapter also enjoys co-sponsoring events with other local anti-fraud chapters as well as having such events held onsite with participating businesses or governmental agencies thus building strong community relationships while providing exciting and sometimes hands-on training. The Chapter also supports local charities by making donations or volunteering for sponsored events. In addition, the NEOACFE has an annual Scholarship Program whereby it selects number of local colleges and universities each year to receive a sizable scholarship to be awarded deserving students pursuing an anti-fraud career. read more
