Nemours Office of Continuing Medical Education offers continuing medical education credits through a variety of conferences a ... nd regularly scheduled series. Events are held on both Nemours and non-Nemours sites. Some events are available both in-person and virtual. Nemours began almost 80 years ago with Alfred I. duPont’s vision to improve the lives of children by doing whatever it takes to prevent and treat the most disabling childhood conditions. Nemours continues to grow its networks of care for children, and it now operates complete children’s health systems in Delaware and Florida. In Delaware, this includes the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, multispecialty outpatient clinics and a Nemours primary care network with locations in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In Florida, the Nemours Children’s Hospital is located in Orlando. This anchors outpatient specialty clinics, pediatric urgent care centers and a primary care network. Nemours Specialty Care, a pediatric outpatient specialty center, is located in Jacksonville, Florida. Nemours Children’s Clinic, a smaller but robust outpatient center, is located in Pensacola, Florida. Since its inception in 1940, education has been an integral part of the Nemours mission. The purpose of Nemours Office of Continuing Medical Education is to support physicians in their commitment to life-long learning by assisting them in identifying their educational needs and designing educational activities that will enhance physician competence and provide the impetus for improvement in physician performance.
