Animal Admissions: 1821 animal admissions were received into the centre last year with the majority of them being birds. Since the signing of an MOU between NAR and over 27 Veterinarian partners over 600 animals have been collected using the NAR Van. Approximately 170,000 kilometres have been travelled collecting wildlife from these Veterinarian practices. This service provides the community with safe drop off points where animals are treated for injuries. Admission, retrieval, and care of individual animal are costed at over $135.00 per animal, in 2015-16 of the 1821 animals admitted. read more
