Netivei Israel, The National Transport Infrastructure Company of Israel, is a government-owned company. We are the owners of ... about 8,600 km of interurban roads and highways in Israel. In charge of design, construction and maintenance of all interurban roads and highways in Israel, and since 2012 of all new rail-roads infra structure in the country. Furthermore, we are in charge of the design & construction of the new international airport of Israel, supplementary to Ben-Gurion (TLV) international airport which is the main aerial gate to Israel. Last year, the company established a new division – Strategy and Innovation. This division promotes, among other things, R&D processes and leads a road map for acceleration of advanced technologies and methods which will allow us to "step-up our game" and deal with new challenges that the transport infrastructure sector is facing. At the Strategy and Innovation Division we are looking for partners to join-venture projects which will support all aspects of our activities. However, nowadays we are focusing on 3 major topics that we wish to explore: Transport technologies and regulations regarding land cargo transport via trucks Preventive road maintenance 3D prints of bridges and road structure But also, would like to hear about many other topics that we could collaborate or purchase R&D materials on, such as waste to energy for infrastructure materials, G5 network, IoT and so on. We already work today with several start-up companies on new developments for our activities and engage in a few pilots on our way to produce beta sites for innovative products that will support our core activities, but always on the look for new partners.
