We educate more than 600 students each year who earn baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees and matriculate more Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Ph.D. students than any other nursing school in S.C. Nearly half of our nursing students receive their education and training entirely through our academically and technologically advanced online program. U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks our online graduate nursing program one of the top in the country. Currently, our Family Nurse Practitioner online program is ranked No. 5 in the U.S. We also boast the country’s only DNP degree with a palliative care concentration. The college also possesses a strong nursing research program that ranks in the top 30 in funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) among nursing colleges across the country. With more than $9.2 million secured in total funding last year, the college is the highest-ranked college of nursing in S.C. and the third-highest in the southeast in federal research funding.
