MBEVA is an organization of businesses, public agencies, labor, education, auto retailers, EV charging station manufacturers, ... vehicle manufacturers, PG&E, and electric vehicle advocates from the tri-county area who are working together to promote widespread adoption of electric vehicles int the Monterey Bay region of California. We are a project of Ecology Action, a non-profit organization based in Santa Cruz, California. www.ecoact.org MBEVA is the only tri-county body to establish a structure that supports accelerated adoption of plug-in electric and hybrid-electric vehicles. It is dedicated to: (1) Ensuring local governments adopt supportive policies, including streamlined EV charger permitting; (2) Installing publicly available charging stations; (3) Increasing EV-related funding; (4) Training local workforce for green jobs related to the EV industry, and attracting electric vehicle businesses to the region. read more
