Monica Loughman elite Ballet was established in 2011 in recognition of the importance to leverage the Monica Loughman “Brand” ... in staging productions and the fact that so many of the Coryphees and Corps de Ballet were could no longer be described as “Youth”. The Company also now has several Irish soloists and it has been a definitive launch pad for a number of professional Ballet careers. In July 2011 in response to overwhelming demand from students and teachers from Ballet Schools across Ireland Monica set up The Bridge Program to clarify how transition from School to Stage can happen. The Program consists of workshops around Ireland with participating Schools led by Monica. Past - The Irish Youth Russian Ballet Company was established in 2006. Its policy of using Irish talent for almost all of the roles in each performance was something that no other Irish Ballet Company had been able to attain. The company aimed to give young Irish dancers the opportunity to advance by performing in a major show to the Irish public and it achieved this over and over again. As the Company’s successes grew, auditions became more and more popular with Ballet School students from all over Ireland.
