From gener ... ation to generation, we have been breeding our cows traditionally on our family-scale farms in Normandy. To produce a rich and tasty milk, herds benefit from ideal climatic conditions, natural grass, and a high level of animal welfare. Each cooperator undertakes to comply with good farming practices: animal identification, herd health, natural food, welfare, safety and preserved environment. The farms average surface is 130 hectares for a production of 560,000 litres. The milk collected is subject to systematic analyses and it is quickly transported to nearby factories (less than 50 km for 80% of farms). Traceability, quality and safety are the priorities of the 1,120 cooperative breeders. A RIGOROUS INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURER In order to guarantee the quality and safety of all our products, samples are taken and then analysed in the laboratory, at every level of the processing chain, which is maintained at the highest aseptic level. We use the latest technologies and the most efficient devices. Our state-of-the-art and automated industrial facilities produce 450 different references per year, representing 200 000 tonnes of fresh dairy products, 150 000 tonnes of UHT dairy products and 5 000 tonnes of cheese. A rigorous organization and an efficient industrial tool allow us to constantly adapt manufacturing processes to different markets. A PROFESSIONAL DISTRIBUTOR We sell our dairy products to French and European large retailers. We deliver through our own distribution network: France Frais, the French leader in the delivery of fresh products to catering professionals. Including 130 subsidiaries and stores throughout the territory, this network specializes in the supply of fresh, dairy, dry, frozen, hygienic and non-food products, directed to collective catering government contracts and large accounts. read more
