MINERALEX GROUP shareholders have been operating in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia since 1995 and have a proven business ba ... ckground in the mineral sector. Following extensive exploration (Soil sampling, Stream sediment sampling, Rock sampling, IP survey. Trenching. Pitting. Bulk Sampling and Drilling), with $15 million spent, the company has identified Gold, Coltan, Tin, Kimberlite diamonds and REE deposits. While the main focus is the Bedrock Gold and Coltan mining projects with completion within two years of the exploratory phase (JORC standards) to assess the 2 million gold oz and the 120,000 tons of Coltan, a multi-mineral approach was adopted to represents a risk reducing factor and the ability to share among the different minerals common extraction equipment, reducing considerably the overall capex. While the bedrock exploration continues, in order to promote the low capex/opex approach, the company concluded Feasibility study for production of JORC 20,000 oz of gold ready to be mined with small mining operation. Available reports: KPMG financial reports, Conceptual study (CS), Competent Person Report (CPR), Order of Magnitude (OOM) and 2 SRK reports. Main results to date: COLTAN: Eluvial – 590 tonnes (400 g/m3) @ 20% Ta2O5 plus (tin - gold). Overall eluvial resource potential of 6,000 tonnes. Alluvial – ~600 tonnes (12 “unmined” swamps 50-75 tonnes/swamp). Bedrock – Open pit to 50 m total resource in the order of 120,000 tonnes @ 400 g/m3. GOLD Eluvial – 20,000 oz “JORC” Inferred oz @ +0.4 g/m3. Alluvial – 750,000 oz @ 0.8 g/m3. Bedrock – IP, Trenching, Pitting and drilling identified shear zone target 7000 m x 400 m to 100 m depth @ 1.5 g/t Av grade = +1 million oz with extensions to south = +2 million oz all supported by significant eluvial and alluvial workings. Based on results to date, the company is targeting an income of $30m from the small scale mine and a valuation of +$1b in two years after completing the last stage of exploration. read more
