Our Mission The mission of the Mindfulness in Law Society (MILS) is to educate, coordinate and promote activities in the lega ... l profession relating to mindfulness meditation, yoga, and other contemplative practices. What We Do MILS is the education and support hub for mindfulness in the legal profession, bringing together lawyers, law students, faculty, judges, and other legal professionals across the nation, and supporting their interests in mindful lawyering. We offer and share programming, resources and networking opportunities, including: national conferences, webinars, virtual sitting sessions, educational opportunities, practice area divisions, and state and local chapters. We also offer centralized resources for those who seek to create or enhance a mindfulness practice or program for themselves, their law firms, legal communities, and law schools. We are supported by memberships, contributions, and a seed money grant from the Frederick P. Lenz Foundation.
