Ali Zidel Meyers, MSW, taught and tutored in a range of educational settings for years and began her own tutoring company in 2001. In 2005, as the demand for Ali’s expertise increased, Adam Meyers, MBA, MIM, joined Ali to create what would become Meyers Learning Center, Inc. The couple developed a proprietary time management, organization, and study skills program to enhance their traditional subject-based tutoring. They recruited the most experienced, diverse, and passionate teachers in Silicon Valley, setting the highest standards in their quest to empower students with life skills beyond traditional tutoring. MLC provides top quality services to a continuously expanding network of families, schools, and youth professionals in the Silicon Valley region. Meyers Learning Center’s tutors focus on strengths: building motivation, confidence, and self-efficacy upon students’ innate capacities.
