Mettler Physical Therapy was founded in 1990 by Paul R. Mettler PT, DPT, as a private practice in physical therapy. The pract ... ice expanded into fitness and in 1997 moved to it's present location at 2906 Crossing Court, Champaign, IL and changed the name to Mettler Center. The 14,000 square foot facility hosts a fitness area with an array of cardio and weight machines, a free weight/stretching area, three group fitness studios, locker rooms, a wing for physical, occupational and massage therapy. Members receive three orientation sessions with a personal trainer, a nutrition consult with a Registered Dietitian and have access to over 70 group fitness classes a week, discounts on personal training, nutrition packages, massage and other great programs and services. Dr. Mettler founded the center on the concept of whole life fitness and all of the above fit into this model.
