Since opening our first school in 1977, Metro Montessori has grown into an organization representing 5 AMS accredited Montessori schools, and 1 AMI recognized Montessori school: both designations indicate that our schools meet or exceed the most exacting standards of Montessori pedagogy. Each sister school has its own unique culture and feel, having grown out of the needs of the surrounding community. Dr. Maria Montessori said, "Education is an aide to life and should be the source of joy." We embrace this belief.
