Each year the Melbourne Racing Club kicks off Melbourne's Spring Racing Carnival with the Caulfield Cup Carnival that consists of the Ladbrokes Caulfield Guineas Day, Catanach's Jewellers Blue Sapphire Stakes and the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup. In addition to the Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival, there are more than 75 days of horse racing at Caulfield, Mornington and Ladbrokes Park, including Australia’s richest country cup, Mornington Cup.
