Mechanical Electrical Computer Hub [ M.E.C.H. ] gives college students the freedom to explore their own project ideas and inv ... entions without having to worry about funding their projects while in college. M.E.C.H. is one of the first prototyping and inventing club at the University of South Florida in Tampa where students propose their ideas, much like the T.V. show Shark Tank, and members and officials vote for projects based on criteria such as feasibility, risk, cost, and schedule. From individual inventions to large scale projects, from robotics lessons to competitions, the club offers a wide variety of chances to learn the design process while connecting with fellow colleagues from all walks of majors and life.
