We are equipped with two 2.2 metre-wide aqueous state-of the art coating machines, and a comprehensive conversion department, a triple shift system employing ca. 85 people. Conversion includes embossing, supercalendering, lacquering and printing reel substrates made of paper and board (40 - 500 gsm) or films (36 - 400 µm). Combining extensive experience in coating chemistry with processing know-how, we offer not only branded films like Robuskin®, and fluorescent papers, like Fluolux® and Jetprint®, but we also specialise in providing custom solutions to your substrate problems. Robuskin® is our registered trademark for synthetic paper, including PE, PP, PET and PVC substrates. Coated, one- or double-sided, all of these different plastic substrates can be printed like paper. Thicknesses range from 36 - 400 µm. Uncoated (ECO) types are printable using film or UV inks, and may also be thermal transfer printed. Robuskin® is water and sea water, as well as saliva and sweat resistant. It also withstands most solvents and chemicals. Robuskin® is versatile, as different base substrates are combined with white coatings. High opacity, dimensional stability, and excellent printability distinguish us from our competitors' materials. Certain Robuskin® types are certified for direct food contact with wet and dry foods, in conformance with the BGA/FDA regulations. As the leading fluorescent paper manufacturer and supplier, we set the industry standard. Our coated products have been optimised for use in different fields, e.g. self-adhesive labels, price-marking systems, post-it notes, and poster papers (also for digital imaging). One- and double-side coated materials, printable as any other paper, Fluolux products are an eye-catcher, and are remarkable in attracting attention when used for promotions or other applications. read more
