MUSSI will lead two of the University’s six strategic research priorities: People, Place and Environment and Social and Economic Transformations. MUSSI retains, incorporates, extends and builds on the success of a number of existing research institutes and centres, including the National Institute for Regional and Spatial Analysis (NIRSA), the National Centre for Geocomputation (NCG) and the International Centre for Local and Regional Development (ICLRD).
