In its short history, Maryland Lyric Opera has produced major operatic works by the likes of Gounod, Leoncavallo, Mascagni, M ... assenet, Menotti, and Puccini as well as aria concerts and chamber works. An organization committed to providing employment and education, MDLO aims to bring together experienced professionals and promising young talent to provide employment and performance opportunities. To this end, the MDLO Young Artist Institute and High School Mentorship Programs were created to ensure that the next generations of singers are exposed to and have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals who have spent years studying and improving their craft on the world’s stages. read more
