Northampton Community College will continue to offer an accelerated training program for those who have struggled to attain c ... onsistent employment or education. The "Micro-credentials in Manufacturing" program prepares successful completers for entry-level positions in the manufacturing industry and has created a talent pipeline to help employers meet their need for qualified employees. This non-credit program, funded by a grant from the PA Department of Community and Economic Development, features three courses which, upon completion, will provide job seekers with certifications and micro-credentials which reflect the skills and knowledge earned. Our program graduates have already begun successful careers in manufacturing companies across the Lehigh Valley! Students will receive a combination of hands-on, on-line and classroom instruction.
