The Mannheim Forum is an accredited non-profit student initiative at the University of Mannheim in Germany. It was founded in ... 2012 and established an annual interdisciplinary student conference encompassing seven different themes: economics, politics, sustainability, sport, entrepreneurship, society and IT. The Forum offers students a unique opportunity to interact with renowned decision-makers and to discuss relevant issues, developments, and problems. Through interactive podium discussions, presentations, and a series of diverse workshops, participants can think outside the box and gain insights into areas beyond their field of study. Former speakers include Dr. Norbert Lammert, Christian Wulff, Peer Steinbrück, Wolfgang Kubicki, Dr. Paul Achleitner, Sabine Leidig, Christian Lindner, Prof. Dr. Peter Bofinger, Gregor Gysi, Frank Plasberg, Sahra Wagenknecht and many more. The new edition of the Mannheim Forum will take place for the eighth time under this year’s title “Responsibility” from 19th to 21st of March 2020 with speakers such as Joachim Gauck and Brigitte Zypries. Mannheim Forum Alumni e.V. is a network of former active members who organized the interdisciplinary student conference. The Alumni consult the Mannheim Forum team with their expertise and experience.
