We aim to cultiva ... te a community and culture which provides a supportive space on campus for women from typically racialized backgrounds. The Women’s Collective directly liaises with the Equity and Diversity Student Representatives on the Student Representative Committee (SRC), which provides a much-needed platform to advocate for the needs of women of colour. As you may already know, many other universities - such as the University of Sydney, Australian National University, and the University of Melbourne - already have a Women of Colour Collective.
