Amber and Machete then went on to develop and produce CNBC’s hit original series, The Profit, featuring Marcus Lemonis, which was nominated in 2018 for the Critic’s Choice Award in the Structured Reality category. Currently in production on season 6, The Profit is the #1 original series on CNBC and has revolutionized the business genre in reality television. Further expanding their relationship with CNBC, Machete produced a spinoff with Marcus called The Partner in 2016 and is currently in production on a new series in partnership with Michael Strahan called Back in the Game, which helps broke former athletes launch new successful business ventures and is hosted by baseball legend Alex Rodriguez.
