The LSU Alumni Association, is privately funded and supports the university in the pursuit of excellence in teaching, research, and public service to future and current alumni through scholarships, professorships, social and professional networking events. The alumni association is supported through self-generated income and donations from future alumni, graduates, former students, faculty and friends of the university. These contributions directly support university programs, special projects and over 350 prestigious scholarships for prospective students around the world.
