Louisville Water is known for great tasting water; it was the first water utility to “brand” its water, Louisville pure tap®. In 2013, Louisville pure tap® was named the “People’s Choice for Best Tasting Tap Water in North America” by the American Water Works Association. It’s the second time in five years for the national recognition. Pumping more than 121 million gallons of water a day from the Ohio River requires a lot of work and delivering it to your faucet takes a lot of work.
