The Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting (KyCIR) shines the light of accountability on the people and institutions in power. LPM reaches more than 300,000 people each week across our platforms. These listeners and users share a desire for rigorous, independent journalism, long-form coverage of local news and culture, insight into national and international issues, and a breadth of musical exploration. LPM also serves as a community convener for public affairs, civil discourse, and culture. It presents public panels and free public concerts, and leverages community resources through partnerships and media sponsorships.
