The Loreto principles of Truth, Justice, Freedom, Sincerity and Joy underpin teaching and learning in “the Green”. The philosophy rooted in the values of the Gospel and inspired by the wisdom of Mary Ward, our foundress. Mary Ward challenged women some 400 years ago to ‘provide something more than ordinary in the face of the common need.’ At Loreto St Stephen’s Green we strive to provide a teaching and learning environment with "something more".
