Life University (Life Christian University, originally) was founded and established in 1993 based on Christian programs as an ... exempt institution to confer degrees. This gave the entrance to a number of people who wanted to learn more about the bible or becoming guides for younger people. In 1995 Life University applied for the approval of its programs from the Council for Private, Postsecondary, and Vocational Education, obtaining its temporary approval. A year later, in 1996, the university received the institutional approval from the Bureau for Private, Postsecondary, and Vocational Education, and has retained the approval status since then. After receiving the institutional approval, Life University opened diverse programs to confer degrees in Business Administration, from Associate of Arts in Accounting thru Doctor of Business Administration; in Oriental Medicine, from Masters of Oriental Medicine thru Doctor of Oriental Medicine in Advanced Research. Same the programs in Theology are from Bachelor of Arts thru Doctor in Theology. Life University includes in its programs the learning of English as a Second Language that is taught up to the upper level, from the ESL basic thru the TESOL program.
