Learning Empowered has a long history in our community. It was founded in 1975 as UMCM Suncoast (United Methodist Cooperative ... Ministries/Suncoast, Inc.) by the United Methodist Church to address the unmet needs of the local community in St. Petersburg. In 2019, we knew it was time to evolve as an organization. After an exhaustive and thoughtful process, we became Learning Empowered!
