At the Laboratory of Organic Electronics, or LOE as we like to call it, we make batteries out of paper, communicate with livi ... ng cells, and take plants online. We take theories and concepts from research to working prototypes and onwards to commercialization and benefits for society. Join us on the journey to develop radically new technology for future society, healthcare, and agriculture. LOE is a division at the Department of Science and Technology at Linköpings University. Since the start in 1999, we have grown to over 130 members distributed over multiple groups. Research at LOE spans a wide a variety of areas, all based to some degree on organic electronic materials. We work closely together in open office landscapes and in our common labs including a cleanroom, chemistry lab, bio lab, photonics lab, and surface physics lab. LOE is guided by Prof. Magnus Berggren, and includes approximately 130 scientists and students divided into several subgroups, each guided by a principal investigator: Organic Energy Materials (Xavier Crispin) Organic Bioelectronics (Daniel Simon) Printed Electronics (Isak Engquist) Theory and Modelling for Organic Electronics (Igor Zozoulenko) Surface Physics and Chemistry (Mats Fahlman) Organic Photonics and Nano-optics (Magnus Jonsson) Organic Nanocrystals (Eric Glowacki) Soft Electronics (Klas Tybrandt) Organic Nanoelectronics (Simone Fabiano) Electronic Plants (Eleni Stavrinidou) Organic Electrodics (Viktor Gueskine) Organic Chemistry (Renee Kroon) read more
