With the acquisition of a pharmacy in Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona, Laboratorios Maymó was founded in 1929 by Dr Josep Maymó. From the early days until the 1960s, the company manufactured master formulas and pharmaceutical specialties for human use. As from 1960, the company’s activity leaned towards the manufacturing of veterinary medicines by developing patents and manufacturing raw materials for veterinary use.
