La Strada, founded in the 1980s, is an Italian charity located in Milan which helps people in need. It provides services and ... develops activities in the areas of socio-assistance, education and care. More specifically it deals with  the education of Italian and foreign pre-adolescent, adolescent and young people;  the housing and training of single mothers with children,  the assistance and care of children with family problems,  the rehabilitation of minors who have committed criminal offences;  the prevention of youth problems, the support to victims of abuse;  the school and work orientation;  the assistance and care to Aids victims;  the support to people with psychiatric problems and homeless people;  the training of educators and volunteers.
