The Corrosion Technology Program at Kilgore College was the first to offer a college degree with a specialty in corrosion con ... trol, and continues to be the longest established, most well-known source for corrosion-related education in a college/university setting. The Corrosion Technology Program offers students the opportunity to earn a Certificate of Completion and/or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, and prepares students for the most common fields of corrosion control and integrity management. The Corrosion Technology Program prepares students for future certification as a NACE Corrosion Technician, NACE Cathodic Protection Tester (CP1), NACE Level 1 Coatings Inspector (CIP 1), NACE Internal Corrosion Technologist and/or NACE PCIM Technician (see latest NACE certification requirements for details).
