KEPT GREEN INITIATIVE has some very specific beliefs with regard to our shared environment. We understand that humans have ha ... d a negative impact on the world they inhabit. Through drilling, and burning, and fracking, and mining, and deforesting, we as a people have hurt our planet. We have seared holes in our protective layers and gouged into the heart of our livelihood. All supposedly in the name of progress. While it is undeniable, the technological advances that have been made, the price we have paid is heavier than most would care to admit. At KEPT GREEN INITIATIVE it astounds us that despite this progress, we have yet to provide an answer to the clean energy question. We find it astonishing that we are able to communicate on levels never before known to man, yet we cannot manage to transport the public without sending millions of pounds of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. While other new advances are being made at breakneck speeds, environmentally conscious technology has been left in the dust and is sadly lacking. Further, we believe that it falls on the shoulders of the upcoming generation to help heal our planet and ourselves. While the choices that led to this point in time are easily pushed off onto others, the blame should not be the main focus. The decisions of our predecessors have put us in the sticky situation we are in today, just as the decisions we make to today will impact our children and future generations.
