The origins of Kawasaki lay in 1878, when Shozo Kawasaki founded his own shipyard. As the years passed, the company expanded ... its activities. The current multinational Kawasaki Heavy Industries was born out of a merger between the shipyard, and the aircraft and rolling stock factories in 1969. Currently the mother company has about a hundred subsidiaries worldwide, all involved in industrial and high tech production. Robots, ships, aircraft, trains and motorcycles are just a few of the products that Kawasaki Heavy Industries develops and produces. Best-known by consumers are Kawasaki motorcycles, Jet Ski personal watercraft and ATV’s (All Terrain Vehicles). Kawasaki Hellas takes care of these products’ marketing, sales and distribution activities within Greece. read more
