CSSA connects the John Carroll University campus with the community through sustained partnerships that enable us to realize the Jesuit goal of developing well-educated men and women who understand what it means to stand in solidarity with those living in poverty and on the margins; to engage in ongoing reflection; and to build a more just and humane society. CSSA invites John Carroll students to embrace this mission and to discover their gifts, talents, and leadership abilities through service to others. Our office develops service programs that build mutually beneficial relationships, create learning opportunities, encourage reflection and civic engagement, and nourish the spiritual life. Our programs include Service-Learning Courses, Weekly Service Activities, One-Time Service Projects and Events, and support for Social Justice Advocacy.
