As a community, we build deep connections, explore Jewish identity, and do good downtown. Jewish centers have been integral to sustaining Jewish life for more than two thousand years, and JCP’s story is no exception. Our organization emerged as a response to the return of Jewish life downtown after September 11, 2001. Since our official founding in 2002, we welcome all who seek a pluralistic experience rooted in the Jewish values of learning, connection, culture, and spirituality, and we engage people of all religious orientations and identities. From an innovative Early Childhood Center to engaging Hebrew school classes, from Jewish holiday celebrations to adult learning and community service opportunities, we offer compelling experiences for people of all ages and stages of life.
