Sakae Institute of Study Abroad SISA,founded in 1972, the SISA supports Japanese students who want to study abroad and enroll ... fulltime in the United States by counseling them to choose a school, helping them through the application process, and following through to their graduation. To date, we have helped over 10,000 students enroll in high schools, colleges, and graduate schools across America. Our ultimate goal is to help improve diversity and push internationalization in Japan by giving students the support and opportunity they need to go abroad, as well supporting them to transfer the skills they learn while abroad back into Japanese business. Through our internship program, we hope to continue to work towards that goal by bringing international students into Japanese businesses and diversifying Japan at a faster rate. The Sakae Japan Internship Program focuses on helping support international students studying Japanese by providing them with the experience necessary to start a career in Japan through internships, as well as providing career counseling and job hunting services after students have completed their internships. We recognize that for foreign students residing outside of Japan, finding internships or employment in Japan can be extremely difficult. Differences in language, fees, as well as various cultural differences can easily create barriers between students studying Japanese and actually working in Japan, but by liaising between companies and students and verifying the abilities of each, we hope to ease that process. All services and support are provided at no cost purely for the benefit of the intern. read more
