נתיבי הגז הטבעי לישראל (נתג"ז) הנה חברה ממשלתית שנוסדה בשנת 2003, לצורך הקמה ותפעול של מערכת ההולכה הארצית לגז טבעי. הקמת מער ... כת ההולכה ותפעולה על-ידי נתג"ז נעשים על-פי תקנים בינלאומיים מחמירים ביותר, תוך שימוש בכלים לוגיסטיים מורכבים ואמצעים טכנולוגיים חדשניים. עד היום פרסה נתג"ז צנרת באורך של כ-700 ק"מ ברחבי המדינה, כאשר היא מקימה את מתקניה בראייה אקולוגית ועל פי עקרונות פיתוח בר קיימא, תוך ניצול מושכל של משאבים המאפשרים שיקום נופי וטיפוח אזורי המערכת באופן טבעי ומהיר. הגז הטבעי שמוליכה החברה נחשב למוצר האנרגיה הזול והחסכוני ביותר במשק הישראלי והשימוש בו מפחית בעשרות אחוזים את עלויות ייצור החשמל והפקת האנרגיה לצרכים תעשייתיים. כיום, כ-60% מהחשמל בארץ מופק באמצעות גז טבעי שמוליכה נתג"ז וממועד הקמתה ועד היום, נחסכו בממוצע מעל לשני מיליארד דולר בשנה למשק הישראלי בכלל ולמשק האנרגיה בפרט. נתג"ז נסחרת בבורסה לניירות ערך ומדורגת בקביעות כמובילה במשק על ידי חברות דירוג האשראי MOODY'S ו- S&P. החברה מובילה את מהפכת תשתיות האנרגיה במדינת ישראל ומייצרת אוויר נקי יותר וכלכלה חזקה לאזרחיה.
