Located in Pennsylvania’s beautiful Pocono Mountains, Island Lake Camp is a coed sleep-away camp established in 1986. We feat ... ure a 4-week and a 3-week session for our campers who range in age from 7-17. At Island Lake, we put an emphasis on individualized programming to allow each of our campers to have their ideal summer experience. Our counselors live in a comfortable, modern cabin with approximately 12 campers and two other counselors. Each of our bunk counselors is also a specialist who teaches in one of the 17 different Departments offered at Island Lake. Staff at Island Lake come from countries across the globe including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Canada, Mexico, Hungary, Poland, the United States, and more. As a staff member, they undergo an immersive orientation before the children arrive for the summer.
