The company eventually became public but delisted in the late 1990’s. Kingston Ice was the main producer of block ice in Jamaica. Happy Ice Limited was a truly entrepreneurial venture that was founded in the early 1980’s. At the time, the packaged ice industry was in its days of infancy.
