The 2020 program takes place on campus at Columbia from Sunday, June 14 - Friday, June 19. What is the curriculum? The program focuses on strategy, crisis communication, reputation management, social media, leadership, and more. Past sessions have included: “Communicating Strategically,” “Directing Global Teams,” “Staffing a Crisis: Who, Where and How,” “Making Internal Communication Count,” “Managing Reputation: The Role of Corporate Communication,” “The Value of Social Media: Using It Effectively,” “Making CSR Work,” and “Leadership Communication/Communication Style.” Sessions are led by faculty from Columbia’s Strategic Communication master’s program and an array of industry experts. Who attends? We draw a truly international group of executives, whose responsibilities include communication (e.g., global, internal, strategic, and corporate), media relations and/or PR. Past participants have hailed from the Middle East, Europe, South America, Canada, and the US. How much does it cost? The fee is $8,850. This includes: session materials; breakfast/lunch/refreshments; a MetroCard for subway/bus travel; a welcome reception; and a closing dinner. It does not cover most dinners and accommodations.
