The International Freeskiers Association (IFSA) was founded by legendary Freeskier and BASE jumper Shane McConkey in 1996 as ... the athlete organization for the competitive sports in freesking. Since 1996, the organization has sanctioned freesking events in the disciplines of big mountain, slopestyle, big air, pipe and skiercross in over 7 countries.
