INTERECYCLING was founded in 1999, being the 1st Portuguese WEEE's (Waste of Electrical & Electronic Equipments) recycling co ... mpany (WEEE's). The current facilities at the Santiago de Besteiros' site have a total area of 120.000 m2, of which 8.500m2 are covered and 20.000 m2 outside park. From the very beginning our main goal was, and still is, providing a credible service to the national environmental sector, providing the Portuguese consumers a state of the art unit, which is considered a European reference. Proof of this is that since 2006 we hold four certifications - ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and EMAS registration, and in 2011 the Environmental Permit.
