Mission: • Improve the property and casualty insurance industry’s use of public relations resources • Provide members a forum for the exchange of information on media relations and all other public relations techniques • Enhance the professionalism of its members Structure: Each year, IPRC members elect officers to serve on the Board of Directors. Each officer is elected for a one-year term and shall not serve more than two successive terms in the same office. The 2019/2020 IPRC Board: • President – Lisa Sommer, State Farm, • Vice President – Chris Stroisch, Country Financial, • Treasurer – Jason Willett, CSAA Insurance Group, • Secretary – Open • Membership – Open Membership: Any individual with public relations responsibilities at a property and casualty company (or company group) is encouraged to join, and nearly all of the top insurance companies are represented. Representatives of non-lobbying trade associations are also eligible for membership. Annual membership dues are modest – just $150 per year! Annual Meetings: Two in-person member meetings (spring and fall) are held annually.
