IRN aims to ensure the recruitment and retention of underrepresented groups in nursing. We are doing this through community o ... utreach, intercultural training, and professional development opportunities. -Community Outreach: Members will be provided volunteer opportunities and a platform to speak to kids interested in a career in nursing at events such as school career fairs. -Intercultural Training: Members will hear from a diverse group of their educators and peers to better understand their experiences and how to be an ally. -Professional Development: IRN hosts seminars on topics such as interview preparedness, professional attire, and graduate school opportunities.
